Day 01: NJP / New Mal Junction – Gorumara
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or New Mal Junction, meet our representative who will assist you in your transfer to your Resort at Gorumara. As you will reach in the late afternoon, spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the serene surroundings of the resort. Overnight stay at Gorumara.
Day 2: Gorumara Safari – Murti – Jhalong – Bindu – Samsing – Suntalekhola – Jaldapara
After breakfast, start your day with a Gorumara National Park Safari (Direct Payment). After completing the jungle safari, check out from the resort and proceed towards Jaldapara. En route, visit some of the most scenic spots of Dooars – Murti, Jhalong, Bindu, Samsing, and Suntalekhola. Upon arrival, check in at the Jaldapara hotel/resort. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Day 3: Excursion to Buxa Fort – Jayanti – Mahakal Mandir
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Buxa Fort, Jayanti, and Mahakal Mandir (own cost). Buxa is one of the richest habitats for tigers in North Bengal. If you are lucky, you might spot Leopards, Elephants, Bison, Sambar Deer, Peacocks, and other wildlife. Next, visit Jayanti, known as the “Queen of Dooars,” a beautiful forest village beside the Jayanti River. While returning, visit Mahakal Mandir, famous for its connection to elephant worship and spiritual charm. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Day 4: Jaldapara Jungle Safari & Tribal Experience
After breakfast, get ready for an exciting Jaldapara Jungle Safari (Direct Payment). The park is known for its One-Horned Rhinoceros, Elephants, Deer, and rich biodiversity. In the evening, enjoy a Traditional Tribal Dance Show and visit the local market to experience local culture. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Day 5: Coochbehar Sightseeing (Rajbari & Madanmohan Temple)
After breakfast, drive towards Coochbehar District for a day trip. Visit the grand Coochbehar Rajbari (Palace) and the holy Madanmohan Temple, both of which are iconic landmarks of North Bengal. After sightseeing, return to your Jaldapara resort for relaxation. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, check out from the resort as per your train or flight schedule. Transfer to NJP Railway Station / New Mal Junction / Hasimara Station with sweet memories of your Dooars trip organized by Hill Destinations.
