Day 1: IXB / NJP to Gangtok
Pick-up from Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station / Siliguri Bus Stand and transfer to Gangtok (120 km / approx. 3.5 hours). Meet and greet on arrival at Gangtok and check in to the hotel. In the evening, explore Mall Road. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Gangtok to Changu Lake / Baba Mandir / Nathula Pass
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft), which is about 55 km one way from Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake, which means “Source of the Lake” in the local Sikkimese language, is about 1 km long, oval in shape, and 50 ft deep. Here you may experience snowfall and enjoy yak riding and a high-altitude cable car ride. Further visit to Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass depends on permit availability. (In case of landslides or any other reason if Tsomgo Lake is closed, alternate sightseeing will be provided.) Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok Local Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the following places: Ropeway, Do-Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday), Flower Show (Orchid), Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Enchey / Gonjang Monastery, Banjhakri Waterfalls. In the evening, spend some quality time at MG Marg and enjoy shopping. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok to NJP / IXB
After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station / Siliguri Bus Stand with sweet memories of your trip.
